Bengaluru: The assistant answers questions on mandi prices, weather and crop disease in Kannada and will be piloted with farmer producer organisations in Mandya and Tumakuru.
Industry executives said adoption has been strongest among first-time users in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, including several in Karnataka.
The company said it will expand the service in phases, with language support and accessibility features added based on user feedback.
What happens next
Technology in India is no longer about the metros. Some of the most interesting use-cases are emerging from smaller cities, a Bengaluru-based founder said.
